Blog - Florida 2018

DAY 4 - 13TH JANUARY 2018

Ringling Museum of Art
We could have been back in the UK today, although we hear it was even colder there. It has been down to 54 degrees. Not what we expected for Florida. A day spent doing educational things.

In the morning we went to the Ringling Museum of Art. Geoff and I had been before but it was lovely to go again. The main event is a scale model of the Ringling Circus. An exhibit built by one man, Howard Tibbals. It has taken him 50 years to build it, with other 44,000 separate pieces. The biggest model circus in the world and quite a sight.

We went from there to the Sarasota Arts Festival which was superb. By the end of that we were so cold time to go home. Lovely evening meal and whilst I am writing this they are all sat watching the Patriots Football game.

Off to the rookery for a photoshoot tomorrow.
